Easy Air Fryer Taco Lasagna
Description
The dish begins with sautéed onions and garlic, then browned ground beef combined with oregano, cumin, adobo seasoning, and tomato sauce. This meat mixture is divided into portions for layering. The lasagna is built by placing tortillas and alternating layers of beef and shredded cheddar cheese, finishing with a cheese-topped tortilla. Cooking in the air fryer at 350°F for about 7 minutes melts the cheese and melds the layers.
The lasagna can also be cooked in the oven using the same layering process and similar cook time. The tortilla layers help the casserole hold shape when sliced. Suggested toppings can be added according to preference.
Allowing the assembled lasagna to rest before cutting helps it stay intact. Leftovers should be stored in airtight containers and consumed within three days. Spicy jalapeños or spicy cheeses can be added to customize the heat level.
