Easy Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Walnuts Recipe
Description
Easy Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Walnuts features a whole wheel of Brie cheese topped with sweet fig jam and lightly crushed walnuts. The cheese is baked just until warmed through and melting inside, creating a soft, creamy center. The fig jam provides a fruity sweetness that contrasts with the rich cheese, while the walnuts add a pleasant crunchy texture. Serving it with crackers, bread, pita chips, or apple slices offers complementary textures and flavors that work well together.
The baking method is straightforward: the Brie is placed on a baking sheet, topped with fig jam and walnuts, then baked at 350°F (180°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is soft and ready to ooze. This gentle baking preserves the cheese's delicate flavor and enhances its creamy texture.
This dish makes for an inviting appetizer or snack for small gatherings and pairs nicely with fresh fruit and crisp crackers. The combination of sweet, nutty, and creamy elements creates a satisfying flavor balance that is easy to assemble and serve warm.
