Easy Baked Cod Recipe

Dinner was never easier with this 15 minute baked cod recipe. Perfectly seasoned with pantry staples and drilled with butter and lemon juice.

  • 6 cod about 4 oz each, fillets
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 teaspoons minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • ½ teaspoon parsley or Italian seasoning, dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh
  • lemon for serving, wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasoning stick. 6 cod fillets
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, parsley, and onion powder. 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, ½ teaspoon dried parsley, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
