Easy Bean Sprouts Stir Fry

Easy Bean Sprouts Stir Fry is a quick, spicy side dish highlighting fresh bean sprouts stirred with garlic, ginger, and dried chili peppers. The lightly seasoned stir fry combines soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil for balanced savory and tangy notes. The dish retains a crisp texture by cooking the bean sprouts briefly, garnished with scallion sections for added freshness.

Description

This stir fry uses fresh bean sprouts with roots removed and thoroughly drained to ensure the right texture. Garlic, minced ginger, and dried chili peppers are cooked in vegetable oil over low fire to release aromas. The bean sprouts are then added and quickly stir fried with scallions.

Seasonings include light soy sauce, black vinegar, and salt, which are added during the very brief 30-second cooking to preserve texture and freshness. Sesame oil is mixed in before removing from heat, contributing a toasty flavor. The result is a spicy, crisp vegetable dish showcasing balanced heat and acidity.

This stir fry works well as a quick vegetable side that highlights the crunchiness of fresh bean sprouts. The minimal cook time and careful handling are key to maintaining the sprouts’ delicate texture while infusing bold flavors.
