Easy Biscuit Chicken Pot Pie

Easy Biscuit Chicken Pot Pie combines cooked chicken and mixed vegetables in a creamy soup base topped with a simple biscuit mix crust. The casserole bakes until the biscuit topping is lightly browned and the filling is bubbly. It offers a convenient and comforting pot pie experience without the need for homemade pie dough.

Description

This Easy Biscuit Chicken Pot Pie recipe gathers frozen vegetables, cooked and chopped chicken, and condensed cream of chicken soup seasoned with poultry spice and salt into a deep dish. Milk is added in two parts—part mixed into the filling, part into the biscuit dough mixture made from biscuit mix and egg.

The biscuit dough is stirred together with the remaining milk and poured evenly over the chicken and vegetable filling in the pie pan. Baking at 350°F uncovered for about 30 minutes browns the biscuit topping lightly and heats the filling through.

The resulting dish features a creamy savory filling made creamy by the soup and milk, studded with tender vegetables and chicken chunks, topped by a soft yet golden biscuit crust. It requires minimal preparation, relying on convenient pantry staples and frozen vegetables while still delivering a warm, hearty meal.
