Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce brand: Franks
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt can use sour cream, plain
  • 1/4 cup green onion chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese divided, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese divided, shredded
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken finely or cooked chicken
  • salt to taste, Kosher salt
  • black pepper to taste, Kosher salt
  • green onion optional toppings, crumbled blue cheese, fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or 8-inch cast iron skillet and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add cream cheese, hot sauce, Greek yogurt, green onion, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well combined.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar, and chicken. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste.
  4. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the dip is warmed bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from oven and top with green onion, crumbled blue cheese, and fresh parsley, if desired. Serve with chips and/or veggies.

Notes

  • Store leftover dip in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven. 
  • You can make the dip in the slow cooker. Combine all ingredients (except garnishes) in the slow cooker. Cook on love for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally or until dip is hot and bubbly. After it’s done cooking, you can keep the dip on warm. Stir frequently.
