Easy Chipotle Sauce Recipe
Description
The recipe purees chipotle peppers in adobo sauce with mayonnaise, Greek yogurt (or full-fat sour cream), chopped cilantro, ground cumin, coriander, and kosher salt until smooth and creamy. The combination of chipotle peppers and adobo sauce gives the sauce a smoky heat, tempered by the cooling creaminess of the mayonnaise and yogurt. Fresh cilantro adds a fresh herbal note while cumin and coriander provide warm earthy undertones.
This sauce is versatile and can be used to dress salads, dip vegetables or chips, or marinate meats before cooking. It is best refrigerated and consumed within a week for freshness. The smooth texture and smoky layers of flavor complement many dishes, adding a creamy spicy element without overwhelming heat.

- 1 cup mayonnaise
