Easy Creamy Keto Shrimp Recipe

This creamy keto shrimp dish features sautéed shrimp cooked briefly in butter, then combined with a sauce of heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and a touch of nutmeg. Baby spinach is folded in at the end, yielding a rich, flavorful, and low-carb entrée that pairs well with pasta or vegetable noodles.

Description

The Easy Creamy Keto Shrimp Recipe highlights shrimp cooked quickly in butter to retain tenderness. After removing the shrimp, a creamy sauce is prepared in the skillet by gently heating heavy cream and butter until simmering, then incorporating Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. The shrimp return to the skillet for a short simmer until the sauce thickens.

Baby spinach is folded into the sauce last, wilting slightly to add color and mild flavor. The sauce balances richness from cream and cheese with the fresh taste of spinach and a subtle warmth from nutmeg. The relatively brief cooking preserves shrimp's texture without overcooking.

This dish is served best alongside zucchini noodles or traditional pasta, soaking up the creamy sauce, offering a satisfying meal with a preferred carbohydrate base. The sauce quantity is sufficient to coat one pound of fettuccine, as noted in the recipe notes.
