Easy Cucumber Tomato Salad
Description
Easy Cucumber Tomato Salad blends fresh vegetables and herbs for a light and crisp salad. The cherry tomatoes and cucumber provide juiciness and crunch, complemented by the sharp bite of red onion and fragrant dill. The dressing, consisting of olive oil, apple cider vinegar, dried oregano, and salt, adds a bright, tangy element that ties the flavors together.
Preparation involves mixing the vegetables and herbs, shaking or whisking the dressing separately, and then combining all just before serving. This keeps the salad fresh and prevents sogginess.
The salad can be made a few hours in advance to develop flavor or served immediately. Variations with other herbs like coriander, parsley, or thyme offer flexibility. The simple, clean flavors make this salad a suitable side for many meals, especially during warmer months.
