Easy Double Cheddar Cheeseburger Sliders
Description
This recipe arranges cooked ground beef, seasoned with ketchup and mustard, on the bottom half of horizontally sliced slider buns. Sliced sharp cheddar cheese is placed beneath the beef, while shredded sharp white cheddar is sprinkled over the beef before topping with the remaining bun slices. A flavorful house sauce made from mayonnaise, Dijon and yellow mustard, honey, and barbecue sauce is drizzled to add moisture and tang. The assembled sliders are brushed with oil or butter and sprinkled with sesame seeds, then baked at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheeses melt.
The combination of sliced and shredded cheddar cheeses provides layers of sharp, creamy flavor that complement the seasoned beef. The house sauce adds a balance of sweetness and tang, boosting the flavor without overpowering the sliders. These sliders are suitable for serving with additional burger condiments and are convenient for gatherings or quick meals.
