Easy Drop Biscuits
Description
To prepare, dry ingredients are whisked together, then cold butter is cut into the mixture until pea-sized pieces remain. Milk is gradually added until the dough holds together but remains soft enough to drop by spoonful onto a greased baking sheet.
Baked at 400°F, the biscuits rise with a light, tender crumb and slightly crisp edges. They offer a versatile side suitable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Storing biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature preserves freshness for a few days. These biscuits are straightforward to prepare without needing to roll or shape, practical for quick baking needs.
