This Southern Fried apples recipe is so easy but tastes delicious. These are the best fried apples and you can enjoy them with any meal of the day!

Ingredients
- ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter
- 5-6 cups apples cleaned, cored and cut into slices about ¼ inch thick (Granny Smith or Braeburn apples work well)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon allspice
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
Add to Shopping List
Instructions
- Clean, core and slice apples
- Melt butter in cast iron skillet or dutch oven
- Add brown sugar and spices and stir to combine
- Add apples and cook until tender
- Serve warm or room temperature
- Store leftovers in fridge
