Easy Fried Ice Cream

Get your sweet tooth ready, this fried ice cream recipe is the perfect combination of crispy and creamy! Vanilla ice cream is coated with buttery cinnamon sugar cornflakes for a texture your tastebuds will go crazy over!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 5 cups corn flakes crushed into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 container vanilla ice cream 48 ounces

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the corn flakes, cinnamon, and sugar to the skillet. Stir everything together. Cook for 4-6 minutes or until the cornflakes are toasted.
  2. Remove from the skillet and add to a bowl. Scoop out one cup of ice cream and roll it into a ball until you have about 8.
  3. Place on a baking sheet and freeze for an hour. Remove from the freezer and roll the ice cream balls in the corn flake mixture.
  4. Add it back to the baking sheet and place back in the freezer for another 30 minutes to an hour or until solidified.
  5. Top with desired toppings.
