Easy Frozen Yogurt Banana Pops
Description
Easy Frozen Yogurt Banana Pops are made by dipping banana slices into a blend of Greek yogurt, vanilla, and stevia, then topping them with choices like shredded coconut, diced walnuts, or mini chocolate chips before freezing. The bananas are first sliced to a half-inch thickness for manageable bite-sized pops. After coating, they freeze solid on parchment paper for about two hours.
The result is a cool, creamy snack with a gentle sweetness from the banana and vanilla yogurt, complemented by the texture of chosen toppings. Allowing the pops to sit at room temperature for five minutes before eating softens them slightly for easier biting.
This snack can be convenient for a healthy, sweet treat option that combines fruit with protein-rich yogurt and adds texture from the nuts or chocolate. The choice of yogurt affects the flavor and texture, and coconut or vegan yogurts can serve as substitutes with minor adjustments.
Banana pops freeze quite solidly, so letting them thaw briefly before eating improves enjoyment. They are best eaten shortly after removal from the freezer to prevent melting from temperature exposure.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 drop stevia liquid form
- 2 banana cut into half inch slices
- 2 tbs coconut shredded

- The type of yogurt used will influence the flavor and texture; coconut or vegan yogurts can be substituted with some recipe adjustments.
- Allow frozen banana pops to soften for 3-5 minutes at room temperature before eating for easier biting.
- Consume frozen pops soon after removing from the freezer to enjoy optimal texture before they begin to melt.
