Easy Fruit Salad
Description
Easy Fruit Salad combines a variety of fresh fruits including strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, kiwi, grapes, and mandarin oranges. These fruits provide a mix of sweet, tart, and juicy flavors along with vibrant colors. The salad is tossed with a dressing made from lime juice, lime zest, and optional maple syrup for a hint of extra sweetness and zesty brightness.
The lime dressing enhances the fresh fruit flavors without overpowering them, maintaining a fresh and balanced taste. The salad is served immediately but can be stored in an airtight container to maintain freshness for 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator.
The fruit salad serves well as a light dessert, breakfast side, or healthy snack. Skipping the maple syrup is possible if the fruits are ripe and sweet enough, which keeps added sugars low.
