Easy Fruit Salad Recipe

This Easy Fruit Salad Recipe mixes fresh pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, blackberries, orange sections, red grapes, and blueberries tossed in a citrus and brown sugar sauce flavored with vanilla. The salad combines a variety of colorful fruits offering a balance of sweet, tart, and juicy elements with a lightly thickened sauce enhanced by orange and lemon zest.

Description

The recipe prepares a sauce by boiling fresh orange and lemon juices with brown sugar and citrus zest until it slightly thickens, then removing from heat to stir in vanilla extract. Fresh pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, blackberries, orange sections, red grapes, and blueberries are combined in a bowl and tossed with the cooled sauce to evenly coat the fruit.

Chilling the salad for 3 to 4 hours allows the flavors to meld and the fruit to absorb the sweet and tangy notes from the sauce. The assortment of fruits provides a range of textures from firm grapes to tender berries, accented by the bright citrus sauce.

This fruit salad works well as a refreshing side dish, dessert, or healthy snack, offering both vibrant color and a pleasing blend of flavors for warmer days or any gathering.
