Easy Goulash Recipe
Description
Making Easy Goulash involves sautéing ground beef until browned and draining excess fat before adding garlic and simmering with tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, herbs, and soy sauce for depth of flavor. Adding macaroni or similar pasta to the skillet allows it to cook directly in the sauce, absorbing its taste and thickening the dish.
The dish offers a balance of tangy tomato acidity with the warmth of Italian seasoning and slight saltiness from soy sauce, creating a filling meal. It can be topped with shredded cheddar cheese for richness, melting into the noodles and beef sauce.
This recipe is freezer-friendly, allowing the beef and sauce base to be prepared and frozen separately from noodles and cheese to maintain texture. Instructions for slow cooker preparation provide flexibility, making it adaptable for different cooking methods and schedules.
