Easy Hamburger Soup
Description
The Easy Hamburger Soup starts by browning lean ground beef in olive oil, which forms a flavorful base. Once the excess fat is drained, diced onions, celery, carrots, bell pepper, green peas, and pressed garlic are sautéed with the beef to soften the vegetables and meld their flavors. Adding Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, canned diced tomatoes, and dried oregano creates a rich and savory broth that simmers for 15 to 20 minutes. This simmering allows the soup to develop depth, softening the vegetables further and blending all ingredients into a satisfying meal.
This soup features a balance of textures with tender ground beef, softened but discernible vegetables, and a mildly herbed tomato broth. Seasoned simply with salt and pepper, it provides a nourishing and filling option for cooler days or when a comforting bowl is desired. Topping each serving with fresh parsley adds a fresh contrast to the cooked ingredients.
Easy Hamburger Soup is a practical, all-in-one bowl meal that can be served with crusty bread for dipping or alone as a light dinner. The ingredients and seasoning are straightforward, making it accessible to home cooks seeking a classic meat and vegetable soup prepared from pantry staples and fresh produce.
