Easy Homemade Salsa - Fresh Tomato Salsa
Description
Easy Homemade Salsa - Fresh Tomato Salsa mixes basic ingredients such as tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and garlic with fresh cilantro and lime juice. The use of ground cumin and a dash of black pepper lends subtle warmth and complexity to the bright, acidic tomato base. Pulse blending controls the salsa's texture, which can be adjusted from coarse to smoother depending on taste. Chilling the salsa allows the flavors to meld, making it a lively accompaniment for snacks or meals.
The natural juiciness of the tomatoes and the crisp brightness of the cilantro contribute to a fresh, balanced taste with a mild kick from the jalapeño. A dash of salt enhances the flavors, while optional additions like sweetener or cayenne offer further customization.
The salsa is best served chilled alongside warm tortilla chips, though it can also complement grilled meats or tacos. Stored in an airtight container, it keeps for up to five days in the refrigerator.
