Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 jalapeño large
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ¼ cup hummus roasted garlic flavor
  • ½ cup Colby jack cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ cup Bacon optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or air-fryer 375°F.
  2. Wash and halve the jalapeños lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, fold together cream cheese, hummus, paprika, and sriracha and mix until combined. If you are using bacon, add bacon and some bacon grease at this step.
  4. Use a spoon to scoop the mixture into each jalapeno.
  5. Place stuffed jalapenos in an oven safe dish and bake/air-fry for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the tray from the oven or air fryer and top each pepper with shredded cheese.
  7. Change oven to broil and let cheese melt for approximately 2-3 minutes. If using an air fryer, pop back into the air fryer.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Want to add some more fun toppings? Add some salsa verde, Mexican crema, or fresh cilantro.
  • I love using colby jack cheese, but I bet cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone would be great. Just keep in mind that every cheese is going to have a different melting point, so keep a close eye on your poppers.
