Easy Naan Pizza
Description
This recipe transforms store-bought naan bread into a personalized pizza by brushing it with olive oil and layering with marinara sauce as the base. The toppings include fresh spinach, sliced cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, sliced olives, mozzarella balls, crumbled goat cheese, and grated parmesan, offering a range of textures from creamy cheeses to juicy and chewy tomatoes and olives. Fresh basil and dried oregano add aromatic herbal notes, while black pepper provides gentle heat.
Baking at 375°F for 8-10 minutes melts the cheeses and crisps the edges of the naan, ensuring a balance of soft and crunchy textures. The approach enables quick preparation with flavorful ingredients without needing homemade dough.
When adding toppings, care is taken not to overload the naan, as too many toppings can make the pizza difficult to hold once sliced and cause the toppings to fall off. A drizzle of balsamic glaze added before serving can enhance the flavor with sweet acidity, while the base sauce can be substituted with leftover pasta sauce or barbecue sauce to vary the flavor profile.
