Easy No-Cook Salsa Recipe
Description
The Easy No-Cook Salsa Recipe involves placing raw minced onion, garlic, and jalapeño along with canned diced tomatoes (without basil), fresh cilantro, lime juice, and kosher salt into a food processor. Pulsing a few times produces a salsa that is well combined yet chunky, allowing the individual components’ textures and flavors to remain distinct.
Because it requires no cooking, the salsa retains crispness from the onion and the bright, acidic notes of lime with a gentle heat from the jalapeño. Cilantro adds herbaceous freshness, tying the flavors together. This method is quick and accessible, delivering a vibrant dip or topping without additional preparation.
This salsa complements tortilla chips, tacos, grilled meats, or vegetables and can be adjusted in spiciness by including or removing jalapeño seeds. Keeping the pulses light prevents turning the salsa into a puree, retaining its characteristic consistency.
