Easy Oven Baked Ribs with Blueberry Bourbon Sauce

Easy Oven Baked Ribs are prepared by coating pork ribs with olive oil and a pre-made dry rub, then baking them wrapped in foil to retain moisture. After an hour, a homemade Blueberry Bourbon Barbecue Sauce is brushed on, and the ribs are baked uncovered to caramelize the sauce, combining smoky and sweet flavors with tender meat that pulls away from the bone.

Description

Easy Oven Baked Ribs with Blueberry Bourbon Sauce highlight tender pork ribs enhanced by a dry rub and a unique blueberry bourbon barbecue sauce. The ribs are first coated with olive oil and rub, then tightly wrapped in foil to create a steamy environment baking at 400°F for one hour, ensuring the meat turns tender. Afterward, the ribs are exposed, brushed generously with the blueberry bourbon sauce, and baked again to develop a caramelized glaze over the meaty surface. This cooking technique balances moist interior meat with a flavorful, slightly sticky exterior sauce.

The smoky, spiced flavor from the dry rub contrasts with the blueberry bourbon’s sweet and slightly tangy character, offering a rich and layered taste experience. The ribs bake on a baking sheet lined with foil to catch drippings and simplify cleanup.

Serve the ribs with extra sauce spooned on the side for added richness. This recipe works well for a hearty dinner or barbecue meal.
