Easy Pasta Primavera for Two

This Easy Pasta Primavera recipe combines penne pasta, sautéed chicken, and a medley of seasoned vegetables topped with Parmesan cheese. The dish balances tender pasta and juicy chicken with bell peppers and tomatoes cooked into a flavorful sauce with dried herbs, creating a hearty meal sized for two. Its blend of textures and simple pantry spices make it a practical choice for a satisfying home-cooked dinner.

Description

Easy Pasta Primavera for Two features penne pasta cooked until tender and tossed with sautéed chicken breast pieces. Vegetables including diced bell pepper and introduced garlic provide a fresh base. These ingredients simmer together with canned diced tomatoes with green chilies and a combination of dried herbs such as basil, rosemary, thyme, and garlic powder. The result is a thickened, saucy mixture that clings to the pasta for each bite.

The texture contrasts with tender cooked pasta, softer vegetables cooked just to soften, and moist, cooked chicken. The Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top adds a salty, nutty finish that complements the tomato-based sauce. This meal is a compact, straightforward pasta dish that blends protein and vegetables in one skillet preparation.

Suitable for a quick dinner for two, this recipe requires only common ingredients and basic steps with no special equipment. It serves as a well-rounded plate without complicated sauces or preparation.
