Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced, white or yellow onion
  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 lb ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 hawaiian rolls
  • 6-8 lices provolone cheese
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon parsley chopped
  • 4 tablespoon mayonnaise optional

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the onion and peppers.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the onion, bell pepper, salt, and pepper cooking until tender and golden brown, about 6-9 minutes.
  3. Add in the sliced ribeye, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and cook until the steak is fully cooked, about 4 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and without separating the buns, slice them horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms.
  5. Place the bottom half on a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the buns, top with a layer of provolone cheese, and place the top buns back on to create a sandwich. *If using mayonnaise, spread on the underside of the top buns before placing on top of cheese.
  6. Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl and stir in the chopped parsley. Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until top of buns of golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
