Easy Pizza Roll Ups

Easy Pizza Roll Ups use crescent roll dough filled with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, seasoned with oregano and red pepper flakes, then baked until golden. The exterior is brushed with melted butter before and after baking for a rich, crispy crust. Served warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping, these roll ups combine familiar pizza flavors in a handheld snack form.

Description

The recipe begins by unrolling crescent roll dough and brushing it with melted butter, then seasoning with dried oregano and red pepper flakes. Three slices of pepperoni and half a mozzarella stick are placed on the wide end before rolling the dough tightly and sealing the edges. The assembled roll ups are brushed with butter again and baked at 350°F until golden brown.

These roll ups offer a combination of crispy, buttery pastry with melted cheese and savory pepperoni inside. The herbs and red pepper flakes provide a subtle herbaceous and mildly spicy note. Serving with marinara sauce complements the pizza flavors and adds moisture for dipping.

You can prepare these ahead of time and refrigerate before baking, bake them fresh before serving, or freeze after baking for up to three months. Reheating in the oven keeps the crust crisp. Leftover roll ups store well in the refrigerator for up to five days in an airtight container. They make a practical snack or appetizer suitable for casual gatherings.
