Easy Pork Tenderloin Marinade
Description
The Easy Pork Tenderloin Marinade combines honey and Dijon mustards to create a sweet and tangy base enhanced by fresh rosemary and minced garlic. Red pepper flakes add a hint of spice balanced by kosher salt and black pepper. The marinade is whisked together and used to coat the pork tenderloin for at least three hours, allowing the flavors to penetrate the meat. When ready to cook, the marinated tenderloin is browned and then roasted in the oven until it reaches the proper internal temperature, producing a tender, juicy pork roast with an appealing golden glaze.
The honey component creates subtle caramelization on the surface, while the Dijon mustards provide depth of flavor and a lightly sharp tang. Garlic and rosemary contribute herbal and aromatic notes that complement pork well. This marinade works well for a single pork tenderloin and can be adjusted in quantity if needed.
This recipe is straightforward and relies on marinating time to develop flavor more than complex cooking technique. Resting the pork after roasting helps redistribute the juices for optimal tenderness.
