Easy Quiche Recipe
Description
The quiche starts with an unbaked pie crust pressed into a pie plate to form a flaky shell. A mixture of eggs, milk, salt, and pepper is whisked together to create the custard base. Seasoned with salt and pepper, this custard is poured over a layer of cubed cooked ham, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced green onion arranged in the crust. Another sprinkling of cheese on top adds a golden finish after baking.
Baked at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes, the quiche sets firmly in the center but remains creamy. Cooling for a few minutes before slicing allows the custard to set fully and makes serving easier. The quiche has a rich, savory flavor profile with a nice balance of textures from the tender crust and creamy filling punctuated by ham and sharp cheddar.
This quiche is suitable for breakfast, brunch, or light lunch, and can be served warm or at room temperature.
