Easy Rosé Pasta Sauce

The Easy Rosé Pasta Sauce combines garlic sautéed briefly in oil, canned tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, and cream to create a smooth, pink-hued sauce. Its balanced blend of acidity from tomatoes and richness from cream and cheese results in a velvety texture that coats pasta nicely, making it a straightforward yet flavorful accompaniment for a comforting pasta dish.

Description

This Easy Rosé Pasta Sauce starts by gently cooking garlic in oil just until fragrant to preserve its delicate flavor. Tomato sauce is added next and mixed well before incorporating grated Parmesan cheese, which melts into the sauce and adds sharp umami notes. Cooking cream is stirred in and brought to a boil for a few minutes, softening the acidity of the tomato and lending a silky texture. The sauce is seasoned with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

The resulting sauce has a creamy consistency and a balanced flavor profile highlighting the fresh garlic and tomato while mellowing acidity with dairy. This sauce pairs well with a variety of pasta shapes and can be served immediately for best texture. It offers a simpler alternative to more complex cream and tomato sauces by using few ingredients and straightforward technique.
