Easy Skillet Ravioli Lasagna

Easy Skillet Ravioli Lasagna layers cheese ravioli, sliced chicken sausage, and marinara sauce with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, baked until bubbly with a golden top. The dish combines tender pasta with savory meat and a rich cheese topping, offering a quicker alternative to traditional lasagna with less assembly and cleanup.

Description

Easy Skillet Ravioli Lasagna starts by preparing marinara sauce, then slicing fully cooked Italian chicken sausage. A layer of marinara is spread in a skillet or baking dish, followed by half the ravioli, remaining sauce, Parmesan, and mozzarella. The layers are repeated before seasoning the top with Italian seasoning.

Covered and baked at 375°F, the lasagna cooks until heated through and cheese melts and browns lightly. Resting before serving allows the layers to set. The chicken sausage adds savory flavor and protein, while the ravioli replaces traditional lasagna noodles, reducing prep time.

This dish serves as a comforting meal that pairs well with salad or steamed vegetables. Garnishing with fresh basil before serving adds fresh herbal notes. The recipe offers an efficient way to deliver classic lasagna flavors in a streamlined preparation.

Using fully cooked sausage and fresh or frozen ravioli makes this recipe accessible. Metric measurements can be used as needed. Leftovers reheat well in the oven or microwave.
