Easy Slow Cooker Cheesy BBQ Chicken = tender chicken breasts that cook in your favorite BBQ sauce, gets smothered in melted cheese and topped with sliced scallions. Perfect over mashed potatoes or shredded for sandwiches. It's an easy dinner the whole family will love!

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast about 2 lbs, boneless, skinless
- garlic powder
- salt
- black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1.5 - 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- scallions sliced
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour BBQ sauce over chicken breasts, put lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 10 minutes, add the shredded cheese to the top of the chicken, sprinkle sliced scallions over everything and put the lid back on for 10 minutes. Serve when cheese is melted.
