Easy Strawberry Lemonade
Description
The recipe begins by pureeing fresh strawberries with some water until smooth. This puree can be strained for a smoother texture if preferred, removing pulp before mixing. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is then combined with the strawberry puree and filtered water. A sweetener such as monk fruit sweetener or granulated sugar is added and stirred until fully dissolved, allowing adjustment to taste.
This approach integrates fresh fruit flavors directly and enables control over sweetness and tartness. Served cold with ice cubes and optionally garnished with lemon wedges, the lemonade offers a lightly sweetened drink with natural strawberry and lemon flavors.
For convenience, the strawberry puree can be made in advance and stored airtight in the refrigerator for up to two days. The finished lemonade also keeps in the fridge for two days, though stirring before serving is advisable as ingredients may settle. This makes it practical for entertaining or daily refreshment with preparation flexibility.
