Easy Strawberry Rhubarb Jam
Description
This jam recipe calls for equal parts chopped strawberries and rhubarb mixed with a natural sweetener. The mixture is heated over medium-low heat until the sweetener dissolves, then boiled at medium-high heat with frequent stirring for about 10 minutes until the jam thickens and bubbles fully cover the surface. For a smoother consistency, an immersion blender can be used to puree the cooked jam. The finished jam is transferred to a sealable container and refrigerated for up to seven days or frozen for longer storage.
The resulting jam balances the sweetness of strawberries with the tartness of rhubarb, producing a fresh-tasting preserve that works well on toast or in desserts. The cooking time and stirring ensure the jam reaches the right thickness while maintaining the fruit’s natural flavor.
