Easy Stuffing Recipe
Description
Easy Stuffing Recipe uses a mix of bread cubes that absorb flavorful chicken stock, vegetables, and herbs. Butter is melted and used to soften celery and onions without browning, preserving freshness. Fresh thyme and rosemary contribute herbal notes that complement the bread's neutrality. The mixture is moistened just enough to avoid sogginess and then baked until the surface becomes golden and crisp. This textural contrast enhances the overall eating experience.
The recipe is straightforward, requiring a single baking step after the stuffing is assembled. The baked top helps the dish hold together when served alongside meats or as part of a festive occasion. Adjusting the broth quantity allows customization for bread type and moisture preference.
The recipe notes suggest adding sage if desired and offer a make-ahead tip: assemble the dish through mixing, refrigerate, then bake before serving, which can be convenient for holiday preparations.
