Easy Sweet Chili Sauce Recipe

This easy Sweet Chili Sauce recipe comes together in less than 15 minutes with 6 simple ingredients producing a sauce that is sweet, tangy and has just a touch of spice.

  • ½ cup rice vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili garlic sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Add the chili garlic sauce, fish sauce, water, vinegar and sugar to a small pot over medium heat.
  2. Stir to combine and bring everything to a simmer, stirring intermittently.
  3. Once the sauce is simmering and the sugar is dissolved, stir in the cornstarch and water mixture.
  4. Simmer an additional 5-10 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken. Then serve, or cool and refrigerate until serving.
