Easy Taco Soup

Easy Taco Soup combines seasoned ground beef, beans, tomatoes, corn, and broth into a hearty simmered soup. The mix of taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix adds a distinct flavor profile that blends savory, tangy, and mildly spicy notes. The soup's texture is chunky and rich with beans and vegetables, making it a filling option for casual meals.

Description

Easy Taco Soup starts by browning ground beef with yellow onion before incorporating taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix for complex seasoning. Rinsed kidney and pinto beans, diced tomatoes with chiles, corn, beef broth, and crushed tomatoes are then added, creating a robust, flavorful base.

The soup is boiled briefly before simmering so the flavors meld and the textures soften. This produces a soup with a mix of tender meat, soft beans, and chunky vegetables, creating a balanced and comforting dish with a southwestern influence provided by the taco seasoning.

This soup is easy to prepare and suitable for casual weeknight dinners. It can be served alone or with tortilla chips, garnishes like sour cream, shredded cheese, or fresh cilantro to complement the bold flavors.
