Egg Avocado Tuna Sandwich
Description
The Egg Avocado Tuna Sandwich starts by mixing canned light tuna with minced garlic, chopped onion, and mayonnaise, seasoned with salt and pepper. This mixture creates a moist and flavorful salad. The sandwich assembly includes placing romaine lettuce leaves on the bread first to add crunch and prevent sogginess. Then layers of the tuna salad, avocado slices, tomato slices, and sliced hard-boiled egg add creaminess and freshness.
The varied textures from creamy avocado and egg, juicy tomato, crispy lettuce, and soft bread make each bite satisfying. The garlic and onion provide aromatics that enhance the tuna's flavor without overwhelming it. This sandwich is easy to prepare and works well as a quick meal or picnic option.
