Eggnog Fudge

Eggnog Fudge combines the creamy richness of eggnog with white chocolate and marshmallow creme for a smooth, sweet candy. Cooked carefully to the soft-ball stage, this fudge sets firmly with a tender texture, accented by warm nutmeg and vanilla flavors. The recipe yields a festive treat that holds its shape well and can be cut into bite-sized squares to enjoy during holiday gatherings or special occasions.

Description

Eggnog Fudge features a mixture of butter, eggnog, sugar, white chocolate, marshmallow creme, nutmeg, and vanilla, cooked to the precise candy temperature to achieve the perfect soft texture. The sugar and butter are boiled together and checked with a candy thermometer, ensuring the fudge will set correctly without dryness. Adding white chocolate chips and marshmallow creme creates a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth consistency, while nutmeg contributes a subtle holiday spice note.

Once cooked, the fudge is poured into a lined pan and allowed to set for several hours before cutting into squares. This slow setting process results in a firm yet tender consistency ideal for serving at parties or gifting to friends and family during winter festivities.

The balance of sweetness and spice, alongside the creamy texture, makes this fudge a distinctive seasonal confection that complements the flavors found in traditional eggnog.
