Elderberry Popsicles
Description
Preparation involves blending elderberry syrup with grape and orange juices along with raw honey to add sweetness and balance acidity. After stirring, the mixture is poured into popsicle molds and partially frozen before inserting sticks, which helps stabilize the popsicles. Final freezing solidifies the treat for easy serving. Running warm water over the mold briefly aids in unmolding without damage.
The finished popsicles can be enjoyed as a cool, fruity refreshment. Their tartness complements the natural sweetness, making them suitable for a light indulgence in warmer weather.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons elderberry syrup
- 2 cups grape juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey raw
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a large pitcher and stir well.
- Pour into popsicle molds and freeze 30 minutes, then add the wooden popsicle sticks. Freeze for another 5 hours.
- Once frozen, run warm water over the mold for about 30 seconds and gently release the popsicles.
- Serve and enjoy!
