Everything Bagel Crackers
Description
The Everything Bagel Crackers recipe combines almond flour with a flavorful everything bagel seasoning blend and an egg to form a dough that holds together well. The dough is rolled out between parchment paper to an even thickness, then cut into two-inch pieces using a biscuit cutter or knife. Baking at 350°F for 12 to 14 minutes develops a golden, crisp cracker with a crunchy texture from the almond flour and a savory topping that mimics the popular everything bagel taste.
The use of almond flour creates a distinctive nutty undertone, while the seasoning adds a mix of savory and aromatic notes. The crackers maintain a firm yet delicate bite, making them a satisfying snack or accompaniment to cheese, spreads, or soups. Their size and shape make portioning simple and consistent.
This recipe yields about 34 crackers, making it practical for sharing or storing. Cooling completely before serving ensures the crackers remain crisp. This recipe was recently updated for improved results, so referring to the latest instructions is recommended for best outcomes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond flour Super Fine
- 1 whole egg
- 3 tablespoons everything but the bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Add the almond flour, everything bagel seasoning and the egg to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until the dough stays together when you pinch it.
- Remove the dough and set on a piece of parchment paper. Add another piece of parchment paper on top and roll out the dough to your desired thickness, using a rolling pin.
- Using a 2 inch biscuit cutter, stamp out as many crackers as you can get. If you don't have a biscuit cutter or prefer them square, you can use a ruler and a pizza cutter to cut them into 2 inch crackers. Gather up the scraps, roll and cut out the remaining crackers. I was able to get 34 crackers.
- Transfer the unbacked crackers to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- The recipe yields about 34 crackers, each approximately 2 inches in size.
- Portion size is just over 3 crackers per serving.
