Firecracker Sauce
Description
The Firecracker Sauce blends half a cup of Sriracha sauce with brown sugar, soy sauce, grated garlic, and red pepper flakes, resulting in a complementary balance of spicy, sweet, and savory elements. The grated garlic adds a fresh pungency, while the brown sugar tempers the heat to your taste, making it adjustable. Mixing all the ingredients until combined yields a smooth sauce suitable for multiple cooking uses. It can be applied directly as a glaze or marinade, stirred into stir-fry dishes, or served as a dipping sauce. The option to store it in an airtight container allows for convenient use in future meals.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar or more to make it less spicy
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic grated
- 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp salt or less
Instructions
- In a container, mixed together all the ingredients until combined.
- Use right away as a glaze, marinade, stir fry sauce, or dip or store in an air tight container to use for later.
