Flaming Hot Cheetos Hot Dogs

Flaming Hot Cheetos Hot Dogs combine grilled hot dogs in lightly toasted buns with a topping mix of mayonnaise, crumbled cotija cheese, crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos, and fresh herbs like chives or cilantro. The result is a hot dog with a contrast of smoky, spicy, creamy, and crunchy elements that add texture and flavor interest to the classic grilled sausage in a bun.

Description

The recipe involves grilling hot dogs over medium-high heat until they develop char marks and a slight crispness without overcooking. The buns, preferably brioche and grilled if desired, provide a soft but sturdy base. Once assembled, the hot dog is drizzled with mayonnaise for creaminess, sprinkled with salty, crumbly cotija cheese, and topped with crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos adding heat and crunch.

Fresh chopped chives or cilantro add a bright herbal note that balances the rich and spicy toppings. This combination turns a simple grilled hot dog into a layered flavored treat with textural contrast from crispy Cheetos and smooth mayo.

Serving immediately preserves the crispness of the toppings and the juiciness of the hot dog. It is a casual snack or meal option that offers a spicy twist on a familiar comfort food.
