This soothing flu fighting tea is a simple, effective home remedy for easing seasonal cold and flu symptoms.

Ingredients
- 8 oz hot water
- 1 bag black or herbal tea
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1 wedge lemon
- 4-8 pieces crystalized ginger
- pinch Turmeric
Instructions
- Add a generous tablespoon of honey to the bottom of a mug or snifter.
- Prepare a serving of hot tea according to directions on package and pour into glass over honey. Stir to dissolve.
- We used an herbal tea that contained turmeric, but if you're using a regular black tea, you can add a pinch of the spice to your drink with the honey.
- Squeeze one wedge of lemon into mug and stir.
- Drop crystalized ginger to the bottom of the glass and allow to dissolve slowly as you enjoy your drink.
