French Onion Beef Sliders For A Crowd
Description
This recipe features Hawaiian sweet rolls split and layered with shaved roast beef, caramelized sweet onions cooked in butter and Worcestershire sauce, and grated smoked cheddar cheese. The assembled sliders are brushed with melted butter mixed with garlic and onion powder, then baked covered and uncovered to melt the cheese and toast the tops. The result is warm mini sandwiches with tender meat, soft rolls, rich cheese, and sweet, deeply browned onions.
The combination of smoked cheddar and caramelized onions creates a savory, rich flavor contrast with the mild sweetness of the rolls. The butter and seasoning on top add an aromatic, slightly crisp finish. The sliders can be baked on a large cookie sheet, making them convenient for serving a crowd.
These sliders are ideal for casual gatherings, game days, or buffet-style meals. Their small size allows easy portioning. They are best served fresh from the oven while the cheese is melted and the rolls remain soft.
