Creamy and easy-to-make homemade French Onion Dip is a huge crowd-pleaser and the perfect appetizer for every party, potluck, or BBQ!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 large sweet onions peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard powder
- ½ cup plain greek yogurt
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and stir to coat in the butter.
- Stir in the salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions have caramelized.
- Stir in the mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and cream cheese until evenly combined. Mix in the onions.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. It's best to chill this dip overnight for the best flavor.
- Serve the dip cold or at room temperature with crackers, chips, and/or veggies for dipping.
