Ingredients
- 3 cups quick oats
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 5 tablespoon milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup apples cored, and cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cups unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F or 190°C, and line or grease 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking soda in a bowl and whisk together.
- Cream the butter with the sugar by beating it with a hand mixer for 3 minutes. Add the milk, vanilla, and egg and beat to combine.
- Stir in the flour mixture until absorbed, then add the oats, walnuts, and raisins and mix into the mixture.
- Drop or scoop round-shaped dollops of cookie dough onto baking sheets separating them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake the apple oatmeal cookies in the preheated oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a cooling rack.
