  • ¼ cup mushroom more or less to your liking, sautéed
  • tsp kosher salt (or sea salt to taste)
  • tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread to your liking.
  2. Place the cheese on the bread and melt under the broiler (or in the microwave if you're dying of hunger!)
  3. Top with the mushrooms, salt and pepper. Heat again to warm the mushrooms and serve.

Notes

  • Melting the cheese under a broiler gives a better texture, but a microwave can be used in a pinch.
