  • 3 pounds chicken wings separated
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 egg large
  • 1/4 cup milk low-fat
  • 2 dashes hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 3 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken wings with Cajun seasoning in a bowl, cover, and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Whisk together eggs, low-fat milk, and hot sauce in a bowl.
  3. Combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, and seasoning salt in a shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each wing into the egg mixture, then coat evenly with the seasoned flour mixture.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Fry the wings in batches, until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. Remove the wings from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate before serving.
