Fried Garlic Butter Noodles

Fried Garlic Butter Noodles features egg noodles boiled in chicken broth and water, then tossed in a skillet with butter, Italian bread crumbs, and minced garlic. The noodles develop a golden, buttery coating with a crisp edge from frying, accented with parsley and black pepper. This recipe is great for turning simple noodles into a flavorful side with crunchy, buttery texture and savory garlic notes.

Description

Fried Garlic Butter Noodles combines cooked egg noodles with a buttery garlic bread crumb topping that is pan-fried to add texture and flavor. The noodles themselves are boiled in a mix of chicken broth and water, infusing them lightly with savory flavor. Once drained, they are coated in melted butter mixed with Italian bread crumbs and garlic, which is cooked briefly to toast the crumbs and marry the flavors. The stirring and frying develop a slight crispness on the noodles, enhancing the texture beyond plain boiled noodles. Fresh parsley and black pepper finish the dish with bright herbaceous and peppery notes.

This recipe can be served as a simple side dish alongside a variety of proteins or vegetables, especially where you want a buttery, garlicky pasta component. The breadcrumb coating adds an appealing crunch contrasted with the tender noodles.
