Frozen Hot Chocolate
Description
Frozen Hot Chocolate starts by melting chopped chocolate either in a double boiler or microwave. The melted chocolate is combined with hot chocolate powder and sugar, then blended smoothly with a portion of milk. The rest of the milk and ice are added to a blender to create a rich and frosty beverage. The blending produces a smooth, thick texture, similar to a milkshake but with intense chocolate flavor. The final touch is a generous serving of whipped cream and chocolate shavings, which adds creaminess and a contrasting texture.
The recipe balances the deep melted chocolate flavor with the powder and sweetness. Using ice or frozen milk cubes can adjust richness, making the drink creamy but refreshing. This beverage serves as a cold dessert or a special chocolate treat when a hot drink isn’t desired.
